Milk Jug Birdfeeder
A milk jug birdfeeder is incredibly simple to make and creates a wonderful bird magnet for your yard. In addition to the pleasure they'll get from creating something useful with an item that usually ends up in the garbage, your kids will be tickled to see birds feeding from the birdfeeders they made themselves! They'll also find it very entertaining to watch their feathered friends as they visit your yard over and over again. Make several and place them here and there around your yard to attract as many birds as you can. And you can get as creative as you like with this craft, decorating your jug in whatever way you choose! Here's what you'll need to make a Milk Jug Birdfeeder... Gallon milk jug with lid Directions... Wash out the milk jug thoroughly and dry it. In the front of the jug, cut out a 'window' (a grown up may need to do this!). Using a sharp knife or scissors, make two holes (one on either side of the jug) and slide in the perch. Fill the bottom of the jug with bird food.
