Milk Jug Birdfeeder

These milk jug birdfeeders are wonderful bird magnets for your yard. Your kids will be tickled to see birds feeding from the birdfeeders they made themselves! Make several and place them here and there in your yard to attract a lot of birds. You can get as creative as you like with this craft. Decorate your jug as imaginative as you like. These feeders make great gifts, too!

Items Needed:

Gallon Milk Jug
Pencils
Bird Seed

Directions:

Rinse out an empty plastic gallon milk jug with lid. Cut a window in the front of the jug, and make two small poke holes for the perches. Insert pencils for perches and fill the bottom of the jug with bird seed.

Milk jugs can also be used to scoop out bird seed or pet food. Just cut a hole out of the side opposite to the handle.
