A juice carton crayon box is a very simple craft to make and a great way to recycle something that would otherwise end up getting thrown away.
What's more, it will help your kids keep up with their crayons better than a store bought crayon holder!
Why?
Because they will want to put their crayons away in the crayon box they made themselves... that's just how kids are!
To make a crayon box from a juice carton you will need...
1 large, empty juice carton Masking tape Paints or markers Crayons
Directions...
Take an empty juice carton and carefully cut off the top.
Wash the carton out and dry it thoroughly.
Create a strong and sturdy crayon holder by reinforcing it with masking tape. To do this, cut up pieces of masking tape and have your children completely cover the carton in tape, including the bottom and sides.
Finally, allow the children to decorate the carton in any way they choose, using the paints, markers, crayons... or all three! Girls may even like to paint their's pink and add glitter!
Make more than one and your children will have a matching set, ideal for use on their desks, bedroom shelves or anywhere that needs organizing!
