Friendly Insects

These friendly insects are so cute as yard stakes.

What you will need:

thin wooden stakes or dowels
pipe cleaners
pompoms
googly eyes
wax paper

What you do:

Make a small loop on the end of the pipe cleaner and bend it flat so it makes a base. Glue your pom pom on to this base. Now add mini googly eyes, wax paper wings, pipe cleaner legs or whatever you like. Now wrap the rest of the pipe cleaner around the stake and place in your yard.

NOTE: You can also use this idea to make some cute and funny pencil pals.
