Collage Of The Creation Part 1Scripture: Gen. 1: 1-31
This easy bible story craft does not need a lot of preparation and even the pre-school kids will be able to take part!
Before beginning, tell your children the "Creation Story" as it is written in Genesis 1 and explain to them how God made everything perfect.
You will need:
large piece of poster board magazines glue stick child safe scissors scotch tape
Directions:
Have your children look through magazines and cut out any pictures that make them think of God's creation of the earth. Discuss with them why they chose those particular pictures.
Have the children stick the pictures on to poster board using the glue stick.
Destroyed Collage Part 2
Next, take the craft a stage further. Cut the collage up into small pieces to symbolize the fall of man (Scripture: Gen. 3:1-6). Mix the pieces up.
Share with your children the Good News of how Jesus died on the cross for us (Scripture: Isaiah 53: 4-10). Describe how His death brought healing and salvation.
Allow them to piece the collage back together with the scotch tape.
