Bubble Prints
This bubble prints paper will make nice stationery or envelope art.
Materials
1 Cup Water
Food Coloring
1/4 Cup Liquid Detergent
1/4 Cup Liquid Starch
Straws
Paper for printing
Procedure
In a 6" - 8" bowl, mix together water, drops of food coloring, liquid detergent, and liquid starch. Using a straw, blow bubbles into the mixture, until the bubbles form a structure above the rim of the bowl.
Make a print by laying a sheet of white paper across the bowl rim, allowing the bubbles to pop against the paper. If the bubbles pop too quickly, add a few tablespoons of sugar to the water.
