Animal Jumble
This Animal Jumble game is easy to make and is guaranteed to have your children giggling as they come up with one strange looking creation after another! Here's what you'll need to make Animal Jumble:
construction or white paper colors, pencils, or markers tape or glue
Directions:
Using construction or white paper, ask each child to draw a different body part of an animal, but to have their animal be a secret. For example, if you have four children, one can draw the head, another draw the body, another draw the tail, and another the legs. Let each child pick for themselves the animal they want to draw. When they are done, have them put the animal together with tape or glue onto a larger piece of construction paper. Finally, have fun coming up with a name for the animal... A giraffe head, an alligator body, a bunny's legs, and a fox's tail could have a pretty interesting name! Let your kids imaginations run wild! Tip: Instead of sticking the animal parts on to the larger sheet of construction paper, just place them on it. That way, you can save the animal parts to use again - if you have your children make lots of different body parts, then they can make all sorts of weird and wonderful creatures! If your children would like to share their fantastic creatures with the world, then we'd love to help them do so! Just take a photo, then visit our main Crafts for Kids page and scroll down - you'll find a form to upload your photo and the name of their creation. We look forward to receiving it!
